Biography
Hugo Micheron is the co-founder and CEO of Arlequin AI, a French start-up founded in 2024. Arlequin AI is developing a sovereign data exploitation platform based on new-generation unsupervised AI models for public and private use. Its “information scanning” technology makes it possible to structure and interpret massive flows of strategic data in real time and make it operational.
A doctorate holder from the ENS, Hugo Micheron has taught and conducted research at Princeton and is an associate professor at Sciences Po Paris, where he directs the “AI, Democracy, and the Information Environment” program.
A recognized specialist in jihadism and the Middle East, he is the author of Le Jihadisme français (Gallimard, 2020) and La Colère et l'Oubli (Gallimard, 2023, Prix Femina essay). His next book, Jihadism in Europe, will be published by Oxford University Press.
